About BitTorrent
BitTorrent is a filesharing program that allows you to download your files quickly and easily through special torrent files that you can find on many different sites. These small torrent files contain information that enables the BitTorrent program to exchange a specific file with many other users. You download the file and upload the parts that you have already downloaded to other people.
Advantages:
- Relatively fast download speed
Disadvantages:
- No search function
- Requires a torrent file to start a download
- Works good only if there are enough users that download/upload a file. So it generally only works with new and popular files.
